Capital Planning Assistance

The first step is to find out what your capital needs are. This information can be obtained through Physical Needs Assessments, inspections and walk-throughs. Once we know your needs we can then develop your Five Year Action Plan (5YAP) in EPIC.

Training Programs Offered

Can provide support and grant writing for grants such as; emergency grants, emergency safety and security grants and housing related hazard grants. This can be a full-service assistance or a portion, such as a Independent Cost Estimate.

Contracting Assistance

The federal contracting guidelines that must be followed can be confusing and time consuming. I can help provide as little or as much assistance as you may need. I can develop a scope or work, help obtain estimates, oversee contracts, publish an FRP or provide guidance on what forms are needed.

EPIC Software Assistance

EPIC maybe not be the easiest software to use and can be time consuming. I can input your 5YAP, either on a fixed or rolling basis. I can create your Annual Statement/Budget to ensure it meets your fiscal needs and revise as costs change. Your documents for your Document Management Package can be uploaded for you, so you receive your grant as soon as possible. When requesting an Emergency Grants the documents are now submitted in EPIC.

Managing the Capital Fund

The Capital Fund has some very strict guidelines that need to be followed. One of the most important is the make sure you are reaching the 90% obligation rate by the Obligation End Date. You don't want to lose future year funds because you did not obligate on time.
