The first step is to find out what your capital needs are. This information can be obtained through Physical Needs Assessments, inspections and walk-throughs. Once we know your needs we can then develop your Five Year Action Plan (5YAP) in EPIC.

EPIC Software Assistance

If you are looking for assistance in EPIC I can create and input your 5YAP, create your Annual Statement/Budget, load your Document Management Package and upload the required documents for an Emergency Grants.

I can make sure you are following the required guidelines and have all the necessary documents, such as you public hearing notice and your Statement of Significant Amendment.

Maintenance Programs

A good maintenance program can help your capital investments last longer. Conducting preventative maintenance is the easiest way to ensure your equipment continues to operate for years.

We can develop a good work order system, to ensure deficiencies are being corrected, and a preventive maintenance plan, so you know when its time to change HVAC filters or the oil in your vehicles.

Contracting Assistance

Awarding contracts is an important part of making sure your Capital Fund Grant is obligated. I can help you write a scope of work to be able to get good estimates or call contracts to get the estimates for you.

Grant Support

Grants are a great way to receive additional funds to help meet you capital needs. There are three types of grants available; emergency, emergency safety and security (EESG) and housing related hazards (HRH).

I can work with you to see if you have a valid emergency situation and can create the required documents you will need to submit, or submit them for you in EPIC. I can help free of some your time by preparing your ESSG or HGH grants for you. If you only need an independent cost estimate, I can help you with that too.

As a reminder, grants usually have a shorter Obligation End Date and must be obligated within one year and expended within two years.

Inspections

Inspections are importance to be able to ascertain the condition of your property. I can help by conducting a pre-NSPIRE inspection to see where your are at. We can use that inspection report to create work orders, to correct the deficiencies, to to help create your 5YAP in EPIC.

If you already have you annual inspections completed we can do an informal walk-through to get ideas where improvements can be done or to check on the condition of your equipment and structures.
